Study Postgraduate Masters At Malaysia

A master’s degree is an advanced graduate degree that shows a high level of mastery in a particular subject area. You may choose to pursue a master’s degree in order to improve your opportunities for advancement in a particular field, to increase your earning potential, or to improve your appeal as a job candidate. Some jobs and leadership roles may require a master’s degree as a minimum qualification for employment. For instance, in many states, a master’s degree is required to earn a license to teach in public school or become a practicing social worker. As a graduate student, you’ll work to improve your knowledge and technical skills in a specialized area, whether your focus is the arts, humanities, healthcare, the natural sciences or a host of other fields.

Mode of Study
Masters by Coursework
A professional qualification involving the study of a specified set of core units and a selection of eligible elective units. Undertaking a coursework program will mean that you will attend classes, complete assignments and sit exams where applicable. Some Masters by Coursework also require the completion of a minor thesis as part of the course. Dependent on the course, part-time and online study options are available.

Masters by Research 
Involves the submission of a completed thesis based on an independent research project. Students studying a Masters by Research work independently with the support of a supervisor and the institute. Students may be required to attend units to help expand skills in the area of research. The requirements varies according to the field of study and specialization.
  • A bachelor’s degree in relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00; or
  • Bachelor Degree with CGPA <2.5 and with 3 years of working experience; or
  • Diploma holder above 30 years old and with working experience (APEL Entry)
